Having been to a grand total of only three NFL stadiums, I’m in no position to judge the best and worst in pro football stadium food, but I have been to quite a few baseball stadiums, so I have a good base of ballpark grub knowledge.
In September, Esquire magazine released a ranking of the best and worst in NFL stadium food. Seattle, Dallas and Washington round out the top three, while Cincinnati (surprise, surprise) brings up the rear.
Curious as to whether quality stadium food equates to a winning team, I tallied the win-loss records of the top 10 and bottom 10 stadium food teams and found that although the top 10 have a winning record overall and the bottom 10 don’t, there wasn’t really a big difference. The teams with the top 10 menus have a 39-33 record (no thanks to Dallas’ 1-6 start), while the teams with the worst NFL chow are 35-38.
Check out the list for yourself at Esquire.com and let me know if you agree or disagree with the findings.
